Think you’ve got some mad YoYo skills? Now is your chance to prove it as the 2011 Triple Crown of YoYo Midwest Classic hits Chicago this Friday.
Prelims will be held on Friday, July 15th from 12 pm until 5 pm at the Northside College Preparatory High School. Prelims will be 1 minute freestyles.
Finals will be held on Saturday, July 16th from 10 am until 4 pm in Millennium Park. Finals will be 3 minute freestyle.
Registration is a standard $30 and includes an event T-Shirt.
If you plan to compete in both the professional freestyle divisions or the intermediate and amateur freestyle price increases $25.00.Division descriptions are here. Division winners score $1,000.
Pre-reg on their site + trust that people are coming in from all over the country to compete in this thing so you better be serious with your skills.
Sidenote: I’m really hoping SOMEONE is going to freestyle to a Nirvana song while rocking a flannel.
The ever important after party will be hosted by the always fantastic Rotofugi folks.
