Pulley Again – Spencer Berry
1/15/13
“Guy Wright told me he loved repeaters because he could take his favorite move and distill it down to just itself over and over. I’ve loved the pulley since Paul Escolar in kickin’ tricks. Pulley, reload, repeat.” – Spencer

“Another old trick, but I don’t think this was ever filmed before. Just one of those tricks for the idling moments. A bit inspired by the glorious Hidemasa Senba.” – Rafael

Melt Again – Spencer Berry
1/9/13
“Meltdown is a badass Chris Neff trick from the 90s. Melt Again is a repeater built from a single component of Meltdown connected by a pinwheel and a seasick-like direction change. If you are trying to learn this simple trick, make sure to undo the throw hand twist during during the brother transfer. This is accomplished by landing the yoyo on the inside of your throw hand wrist (behind) and dismounting on the frontside.” – Spencer
*bloody knuckles unrelated to trick.

Blue Jay – Rafael Matsunaga
1/7/13
“This is a 10 year old trick I first filmed for Project Sector Y (you’re pretty senior if you remember that), and since that never got released, here it is for your enjoyment. You can tell it’s old because nobody does wet mount anymore.” – Rafael
Song is “Happy Mondays” by Jumbo Elektro.
Yoyo used is the Barracuda by Duncan Toys.
The Lorentz Transformation – Ed Haponik
1/6/13
“Apologies for the light bleed (or as I prefer to call it, THE INFUSION OF ART). This is a weird trick with two throwhand chop catches. First one lands right next to the head, and the next is identical, but pulls back at the last second to create an odd “vanishing” Mach 5 mount.” – Ed
Song is “Marmalade” by Jack Perkins.
Yoyo used is the EH by SPYY.
Figure Nein – Steve Brown
1/5/13
“I really love the way this trick feels, and getting the timing smooth is kinda tricky but it’s really super easy. Easy enough that after a half hour of twiddling with it to smooth it out, it felt too easy to bother filming. What sealed the deal was when the pop-out to trapeze at the end snagged and busted the hell out of my knuckles on my left hand…at that point, I wasn’t going to take an injury and not at least get a trick out of it.” – Steve
Song is “In The Early Months of the Emergency” by Ghost Hunter.
