When I first started throwing, I was pretty taken with the way the old timers did things. I still am, really. But the ease with which they busted out tricks that are incomprehensibly easy to us today is still a glorious thing. One of my all-time favorites was “Bank Deposit” but I had a generational disadvantage….I wear jeans. The old timers were always wearing khakis or chinos or suits, and their pockets were suited to this trick…mine would barely open when I jammed my hand into them. So in 1996 I came up with this version which works really nicely on a responsive looper, and lets you get away with just wearing a shirt that has a chest pocket.
